Let us have a moment of silence.

Michael Vale, beloved star of a series of successful Dunkin' Donuts television commercials, passed away last weekend.

You may recall him dragging his weary self over to the shop at the crack of stupiddark, mumbling, "Time to make the doughnuts."

If there is an afterlife, I do hope he gets to sleep in.

J.K. Rowling is starting Book 7 next month and I am excited and sad. I don't want it to end, but I do love a good resolution.

Ooh. Not wanting to get my spoil on, especially since the Boutiquemistress hasn't caught up reading yet, but there are a few faculty positions that need filling for this book, aren't there?

Ms. Rowling, you still have a chance to do right by us loyal grownups who buy the books even though we have no kids. Write in a character that could be cast with any of the following, once the film version comes out:
