Deni's blog has gotten a "Most Likely to Be Contacted" award from Blog in Space, and is the featured blog on their site for the entire day.

I'll admit to being a bit jealous, since I've never been the featured blog. However, they have blasted me into space a total of four times, the fourth being just last week.

I can't imagine why Blog in Space keeps sending my blather out there. But they do. Even though I'm not "Most Likely to Be Contacted," and I write the aforementioned blather in English, which extraterrestrials should not be able to read, since England is a country on Earth.

Then again, I've been wondering about people long ago in galaxies far, far away and their fluent mastery of an Earth language (and the fact that the droids refer to them as "humans," a race indigenous to our planet) since the first-slash-fourth Star Wars movie, the one we used to call "Star Wars" but are now supposed to call "Star Wars — Episode IV: A New Hope" because it had a few extra things stuck in so they could put it into a collector's box and make us buy it all over again. But I digress.

Dear Extraterrestrials:

If, in your observation of our culture, you come across a television program called Star Trek, please be aware that the opening voiceover contains a split infinitive in our language, which is incorrect grammar.
