All right, color me unAmerican, but I could give less than a rat's arse about the Olympics, mkay?

If you've been hanging round here since 2002, you'll know that I have always pretty much thought The Games are a big fat fix, and more than once in the past four years I've been proven right.

I have to put up with rigged games in the presidency because I live in America and the end results affect my life on a grand scale, but the Olympics have nothing to do with me and nothing gives me greater pleasure than to ignore the outcome of the fix.

(Except, possibly, watching skaters fall on their butts. I feel somewhat better when a supposedly coordinated athlete winds up looking as goofy as an everyday klutz such as myself.)

Anyway, I won't be watching the Olympics. If you're going to wig about my planetary citizenship, just pay for my rocketfare out of here and I'll be happy to leave quietly.
