![]() watch the birdie 03/23/2006 = 07:30 AM I can't imagine what sort of havoc this particular wad of feathers is going to wreak upon those cute little ads down the left, which are there for no purpose other than that I'm broke and I want money for fun things. (I know you think I put them there to irritate you, but how much more irritated would you be if I told you, "I'm taking the ads down. Everybody ante up"? Trust me. This is better.) Anyway. This morning, I saw a robin. First one this year. (For me, anyway.) And I said, "Holy Robin, Batman," 'cos that's what I always say when I see the first robin of the year, and it amuses me to do so, although it has also, on occasion, caused others to look surreptitiously for the nearest exit. My first thought was, "I'm psychic — I called the robins with my MIND," because I was just thinking about how non-springlike it is around here. But then I remembered that I commented on the lack of springitude yesterday — not in here, but in my notify email, which you ought to sign up for if you're not getting notified any other way, because I try to put in Bonus Material that Doesn't Appear Anywhere Else. The bonus from my last entry was, "Spring has sprung, the grass has riz; I wonder where the birdies is." And now, here they are. Mother Nature's on my notify list. I'm such an attention whore. drinking: peach fruit2o that man of meme - September 21, 2008 7:37 PM uncanny danny - September 18, 2008 8:42 AM parrot update - September 14, 2008 1:27 PM frog update - August 30, 2008 10:49 AM
