i got a 7" penguin

I had a notice to pick up a package at the post office and it was from Andy. He sent me a plush penguin in thanks for doing my guest entry on his site at the beginning of the month.

The sticker on the label says 7" penguin, and maybe that's not the best spam subject I've seen this week, but I can't remember a better one, and furthermore, it'd be a great name for a rock band.

(For the record — heh! — I recommend that 7" Penguin's first single ought to be yet another cover of Louie Louie, 'cos you can never have too many of those.)

In the same package was also one of Andy's DVDs (see him to get your own) and a postcard from the Flamingo in Vegas, at which he did not stay, but was, according to him, the only spot in Vegas with penguin swag.

The fact that a hotel named after a tropical bird is the only place in Vegas where you can purchase souvenirs of antarctic birds is akin to the fact that the main museum in Vegas is Liberace's.
