The Mom and I only got to spend a couple of hours together yesterday, during which all we really had time for was a quick meal and an all-too-short conversation about our individual health issues and the idiots in our lives.

I cannot convey how lucky I feel to have had that, nor yet how guilty I feel about having it when so many people no longer have (or perhaps, never had) it.
