exposing myself as pathetic

I left this in someone's comments, after he blasted me in an entry of his. I saved it, in case he later decides to delete the comment, although he "threatened" to "expose" me as being "pathetic".

I'm not ashamed of myself for informing the original author of the work this writer claimed as his own, and I would do it again, if I was going to continue to keep track, but I've since decided to wash my hands of the situation. If someone eventually gets genuinely angry at this guy for stealing their work, they won't have found out about it from me.

I'm not worried about you "exposing" me for trying to protect you from getting in trouble for plagiarizing other people's work. I do know that you said you wanted to be unique and yet you posted someone else's recipe and substituted your name for the author's name. You have done this more than once. I was trying to be a friend to you and to remind you of how upset you would be if someone took something you wrote yourself, put it onto their own website, and claimed that they had written it and took all the credit for it.

Obviously you don't want my presence [at your website] anymore, nor do you want my friendship or any support I tried to lend you here. Thank you for the friendship you have given me over the years, and for supporting the Hanahoe Children's clinic over the years as well. As to the money you paid me for designing your other template, which you used less than a week, I won't return the money, because I did do the work, but neither will I spend it - I will donate it to the clinic as well.

I will miss you. When you were writing original things, I enjoyed what you had to say. But when you "borrow" from others, I felt like I could have looked it up from the source just as easily as you did.

Maybe I am pathetic, as you say. But I am "uniquely" pathetic. So your "exposing" me as "pathetic" is no secret to anyone, I am sure.
