So I was looking for some inspiration today, and I went to http://www.payperpost.com, more for a writing prompt than for a money-making opportunity.

And I wound up finding both, which was kind of quool.

They wanted to know users' top three choices of topics for which they'd be willing to endorse associated products. They offered a list of choices, but "other" is one of them, so here I go:

1. Music: I do music memes from time to time, but I do try to be very descriptive in the meme-age, as opposed to just writing a list and pretending I've finished my chores for the day so I can go out and play. Also, I always try to share what I'm listening to, just because it's fun to make that kind of connection with whoever's reading. So, I mean, if someone offered to pay me to listen to a new band and write about them, I'd be with that. As long as they didn't mind if I said, "I bought Plumber's Crack in a Vacuum's new CD and it's very aptly named. Their music sucks ass."
2. Science: I love science stuff but I don't understand a lot of it. If they'd be willing to accept my every-woman take on subjects that are more or less restricted to the highly educated, I could write about science.
3. Other: Beer. I can always find something good to say about beer. Even bad beer. Or, you know. Food. Or beer and food. I'm just that versatile.

The Girlfriend Experience rocks. I didn't know who the hell they were before I got to hear an exclusive of their tune Black Diaper on the Food Is Not Love podcast. They've got a couple of other songs from their CD on their website. So go.

Hot geek alert. Brian Greene, the string theory guy. Mrwowr.

Amy and I have settled on the end of August for my online Pampered Chef party. We haven't picked a day yet.

I have to ask her if I can give prizes like they do at regular PC parties. I love parties with prizes.

I also wanted to plan some sort of menu where I could, you know, post whatever it is I'm going to be eating and drinking and have it be stuff you could go out and get pretty easily yourself. Assuming you like whatever it is. (There's another advantage to an online party right there — if you go to a party at someone's house and the food sucks, you have to sit there and go hungry. Or, worse, eat it and pretend to like it.)

I might hire a male stripper. Not that you'd know, 'cos you'll be in your own house. I'd tell you all about him, though. I'm generous like that.

See? You don't have to pay me to get me to write about this shit. (But it helps.)
