I'm alive, which is not to say I have a life, but it beats the alternative. Just ask Jim Van Allen, yet another personality whom I admire and now feel guilty about because I thought he was already dead.

I don't love the world right now, mostly because it's making me so busy I haven't had time to read other people's writing. And it keeps throwing stuff at me that I haven't got time to write about. Like, why is it that, every time I pass a 99 Restaurant, I'm reminded of a song by Toto that I didn't even like when it first came out?

That's about it, except that in the whopping four pieces of spam I've had in the past week, I got one that said, "Think you can succeed in television?" and I was all, "Hells, yeah, where do I sign up?" Only they meant "appearing on," not "watching," so, yeah, no.
