The Publisher's Clearinghouse showed up Friday with a check for a squigillion dollars. Unfortunately, I napped right through the doorbell.

That was some great napping though, I must say. Almost worth missing the squigillion bucks.

Attention Blog Exploders who also podcast: how long did it take between you putting your XML feed into the approval queue and their either approving or denying your podcast? Because my feed has been all "Pending authorization" since July and it's now September. Is it supposed to take that long?

Anyway, I have a new episode, so go on.

Andy Martello sent me fascinating mustard. Key lime and ginger. It has no business anywhere near a hot dog, but I put some into a vinaigrette last night and mmmm. I'm going to make chicken with it later this week.

And that's all I got, except that I bought a box of mints at Tarzhay yesterday for no other reason than that it was shiny and had sparkly jewels stuck on top. I am just that pathetic.
