Downside: Etta Baker died, which sucks and is a bummer if you know anything about the blues, but is kind of funny when you realize that she was 93 and the news stories say, "No cause of death was given." What do you people think, she crashed her motorcycle on her way to an orgy?

Upside: This is too funny to be missed. The whole thing just rocks, but the last tableau — actually, the last word — nearly made me have an accident.

Upper upside: Fans of the Brain Confetti podcast will be pleased to note that we'll be back next weekend, trying a new format and seeing how that goes. I'm too stubborn to give up entirely.

Downside to upper upside: If you don't like the podcast, don't listen to it. My heart will go on.
