If I were Marvin, I'd be whinging about my diodes hurting.

But I don't have a brain the size of a planet.

Or even a brain the size of Pluto, The Rock that Thought It Was a Planet.

Which is, when you consider it, the result of some anal-retentive pocket-protected snoothead saying, "I know planets. I live on a planet. You ... are no planet."

But now we're getting into the realm of semantic comedy.

In case you couldn't tell, I'm running a fever.

Also I had a painkiller. But only a little one.

Which doesn't so much kill the pain as make me take a step back and say, "Hrm. That hurts a lot. Lemme think. Nope. Don't care."

You may ask yourself, "So why is she updating, when she can't even think?"

Because.

Usually I just have a sick mind. Now my mind matches the rest of me. So it makes sense. I promise it does.

Thanks to the Pretty Yellow Pill, I don't have a brain the size of a planet, or of Pluto, or of a peanut.

I do have a whole lot of water, because the PYP makes me very thirsty.

And I have a hot date scheduled with a warm quilt, for which I shall be departing just as soon as the sleepy bit of the PYP part kicks in.

wondering: why giada de laurentiis has never cooked anything that makes me say, hrm, i need to try that recipe; then realizing that giada's so lovely she doesn't need to cook well, or even cook at all, to get her own cooking show. (on the other hand, i think nigella lawson is lovely and i like what she cooks)
