I love http://crypthunter.com/, and not just 'cos I won a copy of Josh Bernstein's book from a contest there. It's just good, is all. Archæological humor is fun times.

Shut up. It is, too.

Freudian Slip of the Week:

Me (to That Man of Mine): I'd punch you, but I can't wait.

I really did mean to say "... I can't reach." Honest.

My creativity is slowly being sucked away by the Deadline Vampires.

Which makes me want to make a joke about "undeadlines," but I can't think of one that doesn't make the deadlines seem less overwhelming and threatening.

Perfect example, though. If I still had any creativity this week, I could have come up with something.

Being busy at work also means I catch up on reading and things at the crack of dawn.

Dawn: sorry about looking at your butt, but if you'd pull up your britches, we wouldn't have this problem.

It also means I haven't really got time to talk about the upcoming podcast, but we'll be airing the next episode a day late (Sunday instead of tomorrow) due to some format rearrangement. As far as I know, we're going back to Saturdays thereafter. Don't worry — no personnel changes that I know of.

In closing, I would like to point out a matter of vast importance.

Dear Dairy Queen:

You are very fucking rude to introduce a new Blizzard flavor (hello? Kit-Kats and ice cream? All in the same cup? My stars and garters) when the Dairy Queens around here are all "Closed for Season. Reason? Freezin'!"

Never mind that I'm allergic. I'd have had one anyway. I'd have taken Benadryl first.

They better not be "limited time only" or I'm a have to hurt somebody.
