Didn't I call it, though.

If I hadn't gone on a rant and demanded apologies (which, by the way, I got from precisely everyone who hadn't pissed me off and precisely no one who had), I wouldn't have gotten all that bitter out of my system and it might have made its presence known in some other fashion.

I doubt that I'd have gone to a university with heavy weaponry, because it's more in my nature to solve my anger by having penguins airbrushed onto my fingernails, but if this isn't a lesson for all of us to realize how heavily our meannesses weigh upon the hearts of others, nothing is.

The shooter was disturbed, and there's going to be a whole lot of talk about that.

There won't be much discussion about the stuff in the shooter's world that disturbed him, I imagine. But you know, something gave that final push. And if I had to put money on it, I'd say it was one of our fellow planet-dwellers.

Yay us.
