First, a request. Yes, again. Not for myself, though.

One of That Man of Mine's buddies has a little daughter, Haley, who's sick*. Would you mind visiting her page on CaringBridge and signing her guestbook?

CaringBridge does require a registry to sign guestbooks. I got away with just putting my email address and a name in there, but you can go so far as adding your contact information, requesting updates, and creating a password if you choose to do so.

You have to be at least thirteen years old to sign, or have your parents sign you in. But I don't think I've got any jailbait reading me, so we're probably all safe.

Anyway, she just had surgery to remove bone cancer, so the more we can cheerify her, the better.

Also, if you know someone who's sick and should have an update page like Haley's, look at CaringBridge and see about setting them up. It's a great idea.

* Yes, real kid and real illness, and I hate like hell having to put this disclaimer in here.
