surf and turf wars Man. That almost sounds like that dream could have been real. You need to go out there and see if it will happen! Also...what in the heck is the deal with the universe and the poo it's flinging at everyone lately? I'm sorry to hear about your mother-in-law and cousin! Enough of this Universe, just spin and let us enjoy you for awhile! [I am going to venture out tomorrow and get a pedicure at the cheap salon, and then buy some strawberry peanut butter M&Ms. I'm hoping that, if I can't convince the demons to leave me alone based on my cute toes, I can bribe them with candy. -- GW]Posted by Kitsch at July 10, 2009 7:17 AM OMG! You are having blogging dreams! That is wonderful! [I tend to dream very lucidly when I am feverish or in pain, so it's kind of a double-edged sword. -- GW]Posted by Poolie at July 10, 2009 7:22 AM GW: I am sorry to hear this news about your Mother-In-Law and Cousin. But there is hope. My Mother, as you may know from my blogs, is a cancer survivor among a handful of cancer patients in my family. I am keeping your Mother-In-Law and Cousin in my thoughts and prayers, GW. :) [The Mom is a cancer survivor too, but currently That Mother-in-Law of Mine is in quite a lot of pain and I just wish I could make it stop. -- GW]Posted by MICHAEL MANNING at July 10, 2009 7:58 AM I wish my dreams were that coherent. Or that lifelike, for that matter. [I do generally dream that clearly, but if I'm healthy, I fall back asleep and forget what I dreamed, which is great for my well-being but death on my creative flow. -- GW]Posted by Adie at July 10, 2009 1:53 PM Prayers and well wishes for your MIL, condolences for your cousin. [Actually, I'd kind of like my next reality to feature that. But thank you for all the above sentiments. -- GW]Posted by Sally at July 12, 2009 6:21 PM 1. What makes you think you are insignificant? NO WAY are you insignificant, not even in the spectrum of the entire universe. [I'm just, like, if I were the Universe, I'd be screwing around with someone who has a little more influence. What's accomplished by making me unhappy? Nothing.] 2. Your subconscious ROCKS! [It doesn't really have a choice. It's attached to my consciousness. -- GW] Posted by CityGirl at July 13, 2009 8:25 AM hey, i'll give you my steak if i can have your vegetables. [Yeah, my dad's back in the hospital too, and my mother-in-law won't get out of bed and walk around because it hurts too bad.Posted by Seraphine at July 13, 2009 9:33 PM there must be other sayings like 'when it rains, it pours.' i'm sorry about your dad being in the hospital. [The other saying I love (courtesy of Laura Ingalls Wilder - from her McCall's column, not from the Little House books) is "If it ain't chickens, it's feathers."Posted by Seraphine at July 17, 2009 9:24 PM |
