the half-brained prince Ol' Vincent was kind of chubby in FMJ, wasn't he??? At least that's how I remember him. He is better looking now, you are TOTALLY CORRECT! [Chubby men are fine with me. I just think his face has more character now. -- GW]Posted by Sunshine at July 26, 2009 6:44 AM Plagiarism happens to the best of us. Literally. Only the best. It's the highest form of annoying compliment! [So they keep telling me, but it doesn't make me feel any better about the fact that someone else is getting positive attention for work I did. -- GW]Posted by Adie at July 26, 2009 6:49 AM You can't blame the man for trying... [Not only do I not, actually, I was a little flattered that he thought my sauce makes the Kraft Dinner better. Even if I still think he's weird for liking the Kraft Dinner.] And Vincent was portly and creepy in Full Metal Jacket, so yes, he's much better looking. He aged well really- because in his younger days, I didn't think he was very handsome at all. [I did like him in Mystic Pizza, but I think it was more his character's personality than his looks. -- GW]Posted by Julie at July 26, 2009 7:40 AM They say giving is good for the soul. i don't remember them saying, however, that giving was good for being bone-headed. [Maybe he'll even take me to the diner for breakfast afterwards. -- GW]Posted by Seraphine at July 26, 2009 8:21 AM You probably could have got in to the movie with the tickets for next week. They don't even check that stuff. Or you could've feigned shock at the entrance if you'd been stopped. [Oh, didn't I mention? We drove all the way to Red Rock and they did check. And we weren't feigning shock - it was genuine. And they said they would've let us in with the tickets except that HP6 doesn't open in their IMAX till next weekend and there was a different movie playing in there. -- GW]Posted by BK at July 26, 2009 10:51 AM Huzzah for a good try! [I will give him all the propers he wants as long as he doesn't hose me for San Diego in October. -- GW]Posted by Poolie at July 26, 2009 3:12 PM Classic, classic post. [I wind up writing these things to keep from killing him, but they actually make me look back and laugh, and there couldn't possibly be anything more positive and cathartic than that. -- GW]Posted by d-man at July 27, 2009 2:36 AM GW: How funny to read that the baseball cards moved across the country with you. HA! I remember when you first mentioned them and I thought "Oh, God. Tonight, she'll probably place them in the trash". But I see you are merciful. Actually, look at the bright side. It is a cool thing to have a hobby for "That Man of Yours". Could be worse! :D) [I had to let them come with us. Their daddy was driving. -- GW]Posted by MICHAEL MANNING at July 27, 2009 10:34 AM i love breakfast weekends. and going for a hike afterwards. sometimes it feels like it's the only time we talk (no tv, no reading, no music, no interruptions, no noise, no shushing). [Ours is going to be next weekend, except that we do talk during breakfast, whether we eat it at breakfast time or, as I prefer it, at dinnertime. -- GW]Posted by Seraphine at July 27, 2009 9:59 PM |
