staycation .. In memeory of Cosmic .. I like that. She would have gotten a good laugh today. [I hope she got one anyway. I may be a disorganized religion of one, but that doesn't stop me from hoping that a spark of Cosmic still exists somewhere in the Universe. -- GW]Posted by Diane at September 5, 2009 8:37 AM Staycation indeed! My parents invented that, without naming it, of course, and you grew up in that mode! [I grant you, it's easier here. We drive ten minutes and we're pretty much where everyone else saved up all year to come lose their money. (We didn't lose ours. We had free movie passes and a dinner voucher for $25 - we got paid to have fun in Vegas, basically.) -- GW]Posted by l'empress at September 5, 2009 8:37 AM .. In memeory of Cosmic .. I like that. [So nice you said it twice. :)Posted by Diane at September 5, 2009 8:37 AM GW: I too like that you remembered Cosmic this way. lol and (((HUGS)))! :) [And this time, I hope LOL does mean "laughing out loud," because I meant for it to be amusing.Posted by Michael Manning at September 5, 2009 2:16 PM You def are youtube material, gw. [Now if we could just line up Jeff Dunham, we'd be golden.] i love use-them-or-lose-them vacation days. of course, i'm the opposite: use-them-even-if-you-don't-have-any-vacation-days-left. do you usually schedule vacation days around a full moon? hmmm. and nobody gets suspicious? have a howling good time! [Oh, I'm nobody's lycanthrope (neener) - I'm just broke, so I schedule vacation time around when I think there's going to be a marathon of a really good television program, like NCIS, or when SYFY might show a good miniseries from beginning to end. -- GW]Posted by Seraphine at September 6, 2009 10:28 PM |
