back in brushed metallic gray

"brushed metallic gray..." For a minute I thought you were talking about my new external drive. They were on sale in Costco 8)

[Nah; the external drive I'm getting (in a couple of weeks when we have money again) is metallic red, like the foil they put on Valentine chocolate. Unless I can find one with penguins on. Oh my gourd; would THAT not rock. -- GW]

Whatever the color, you can always design it after you receive it with any theme you want--just so long as it makes you feel cool! ;D

[I am considering putting the words "Don't Panic" on the cover. -- GW]

YAYAYAYAY!!!

I will never wish you back to a poky connection! And bobo ain't all bad, dear. It so has its moments. Especially when my hubby will build me what I want, hehe.

I'll toast you tonight with something alcoholic. Dunno what quite yet.

[I am annoyed because, whilst I could not get into my namesecure to renew web addresses, my brewreviews website expired and got jobbed out. I have to see if there's any way to get that back. -- GW]

WHY DID SHE SAY THANK YOU?

I DON'T KNOW????

Are you kidding me?

[Wish I was, cuz. Wish I was.]

So it's not just kids around here who are clueless about basic common courtesy. It's an epidemic. At least now I know.

[Kids are catching it from their parents, I presume.]

Congrats on your brushed metallic gray. I'm about to throw my own brushed metal gray on black with the "boys are smelly" stickers on it right out the window. And it's not about the stickers cuz that's entirely true as you must already know.

[Of course they are. And stupid. Throw rocks at them.]

Did you put shells in your soup? That's how I make mine.

[I did, because that's what the recipe calls for, but I think I'd also make it with gnocchi. -- GW]

Hey GW!!! I have started back writing but have kept in touch with L'empress and she was keeping me up on what all was going on!! I'm so happy Uncle Sam was generous! I had forgotten how fun your writing was to read. :)

[I am still trying to catch up but I have missed you and I will be stopping in soon. -- GW]

Oh damn about the site...I'm sure there is *some* way, it all depends on how big the *some* is, hee.

[Right now I'm in catch-22 mode. I can't renew it on namesecure and the site that has it jobbed says it's unavailable. Wait, what? -- GW]

did you know you can't buy a "plain" wireless keyboard? i guess because it's woop-ti-do wireless, manufacturers assume you want bells and whistles too.
mine has programmable buttons, which i never use.
it also has, where i rest my left hand while typing, a 'dynamic search and zoom' function. the image on my screen will suddenly zoom at inappropriate times because my hand brushes against my keyboard.
luckily, they included a handy 100% button so i can unzoom and see what i am actually looking at.

[I have that zoom thingie on mine, too. It's a pain. -- GW]

Well, I bet I can beat Paul Gilbert at putting the seat down. I really excel at that.

[I couldn't say ... I've never shared a bathroom with either of you. -- GW]
